Dr. Emer performs microneedling treatments at his relaxing, state-of-the-art medical practice in West Hollywood. The length of a microneedling procedure depends on the number and size of the targeted areas. Most microneedling treatments can be completed in about 30 minutes.
First, a numbing cream is applied to the treatment area. Once the area is numb, Dr. Emer will begin the microneedling procedure.
Dr. Emer will use a portable, handheld microneedling device to expertly needle the targeted sites to a predetermined depth based on the patient’s unique skin concerns and skin type. The miniature needles cause fine pinpoint bleeding, which triggers the body’s healing response, including the stimulation of collagen production.
